There are two options for getting your initial file – scanning and capture. Whether you are reproducing a very large painting or need some slides converted for your website, we can meet your specific needs.
By scanning we mean a flatbed optical scanner which makes use of a flat surface for scanning all visual images including text. The scanner is capable of capturing all elements on the document and does not require movement of the document. Flatbed scanners are effective scanners for delicate materials such as vintage photographs, papers and other documents which are fragile. Our equipment can produce a high quality image ready for printing, ‘touch-up’ or emailed to you directly.
By capture we mean digital photography of your artwork. With our professional service lighting conditions are closely controlled to give an even and ideal light. Distortion that may appear when you shoot your own work is eliminated. All shots have a colour tag for ease of adjustment. Our equipment will give you large, high quality files that are ready for adjustment.
Turn around times depend on the nature of the project. Our goal, however, is go get you what you need as soon as possible.
